'Done is perfect' is how I stay calm when the kids help with chores. Just gotta chill and be glad the thing is done. And perfect because it's done.

I don't know if I could believe myself *enough* if I said, "Done is perfect," but it's a novel way to get around the Perfection Troll. I hate that guy; he's so loud.

I'm reminded of Lost in La Mancha, the documentary that came of the almost hysterical failure to get a movie finished. I love it because even after everything that went wrong, they still found a way to put something out there by culling together all the background footage into this documentary. So, they failed, but they didn't surrender. Great example of "Done is perfect."

Obama also said, in one of his first retrospective interviews after leaving office, that he abided by "Don't let perfect get in the way of progress." I try to live by that idea, but also can use a little push to complete things. Like, progress is great, and better than ideas with no progress; but I agree it definitely is more rewarding to point to something and say, "Hey, I made that, start to finish." It feels like some mental muscle got its workout, like a runner's high of the brain.

Done is perfect. Overdone is burnt out.

Great to have you back! I thought you forgot about us :(

The audio file attached was great, the only thing it lacked was a wink-ding sound at the end. Have you considered narrating this newsletter and making that the audio file. That way, we can listen to this very short podcast while jogging and not be trying to read the newletters from our phones and bumping into trees and stuff.

Take Care Craig and Family - Hope you had a nice Winter Break!

Today's audio was unintentionally a harmony to the song Loving You by Minnie Ripperton. It actually works. Go ahead, sing along and see for yourself... la la la la la...

Don't ever stop singing, Wheezy. Your voice is as delicate as the peach fuzz on the summit of an angel's buttcrack.

Congratulations on getting the documentary out there! What software are you using to write your script? I heard you and Jake talk about Fade In...

this concept reminds me of the book "big magic" which is a wonderful guide for creatives! the book personifies creativity and ideas as tangible things that we too often hold on to and lose (and they lose their 'magic') and other people may find them before we have the chance to build them to their potential! (not every idea has to be this huge thing, but it CAN be if it has the chance to exist) anyway- thanks for the inspo and glad to have gotten this notification!! im a huge huge fan of everything you make, keep it up (as long as you're happy!) -Roxy
